Jim Ciminelli

President & Founder

Jim brings more than 30 years of corporate finance, CFO, and transaction experience to VCI. His background spans financial services, operating-company leadership, mergers and acquisitions, financing, and advisory work with privately held businesses.

Prior to starting VCI, Jim began his career as a CPA with Ernst & Young in New York City and later held positions with Bankers Trust and Deutsche Bank. He subsequently served for more than a decade as Chief Financial Officer of Acme Cryogenics, where he helped lead the company through its successful sale to a private equity buyer.

Through VCI, Jim works directly with owners and CEOs on financial performance, strategic decision-making, acquisitions, financing, business sales, and the practical application of AI and automation to finance operations.
